The University Ground was a cricket ground in Barnwell, a suburb in northeast Cambridge, England. The first recorded match on the ground was in 1821, when Cambridge University played the Cambridge Town Club in a first-class fixture. From 1821 to 1830, the ground held eight first-class matches, all involving Cambridge University as the home team.[1] The last recorded match on the ground was in 1830 and it would seem cricket matches at the ground ceased soon after.
The exact location of the University Ground is unknown.
